2nd Jam!

Two friends work together inside a spooky mansion full of interesting challenges in this puzzle platformer! Can you get you and your friend out of this predicament?

This project emphasized level design and creating a smooth learning curve for the player, gradually introducing mechanics through tutorial, exploration, and challenge levels. The unique twist of controlling two separate characters, one with indirect controls via toggling the lights, adds depth to the puzzle-platformer genre through a variety of puzzle possibilities.

Key Accomplishments:

• Level Design and Pacing: Levels were crafted to explore the interactions between mechanics, encouraging players to apply their learnings creatively.
• Polish and User Experience: We focused on designing a smooth learning curve that balances difficulty, allowing for a gradual understanding of core mechanics.
• Iterative Improvements: Future plans include refining the control scheme to prevent mechanic clashes, adding more levels and mechanics, and further improving the user experience.

We believe this project successfully delivered an engaging puzzle-platformer experience and has room for continued expansion and refinement, such as improving the control scheme and creating a smoother learning curve to enhance user experience.
